Estival magic at jewellery boutique Adler
Passionate about art, this summer Maison Adler has invited the artists Catherine Farge and Dominique Rossborough into its shops in both Geneva and Gstaad.
Exhibiting in the Geneva store, Catherine Farge, a talented glassblower combines glass and wood in a sort of aerial dance creating a truly spectacular result. Rich colours, contrasting textures.
Having learned from the famous glassmakers, Philip Baldwin and Monica Guggisberg, this French artist plays with forest and fruit wood, carved or twisted branches that appear through transparent discs of glass in purple, blue or amber.
The opacity of wood and the light scattered by the glass is born from a subtle universe, both strong and fragile. To be discovered until 4th September at jewellery Adler, rue du Rhône 23, Geneva.
The fabulous experience offered by Adler continues at Gstaad, with the art works by Dominique Rossborough. For this self-taught artist, of Swiss, American and English origin, now living in Geneva, the canvas has become a refuge for her shimmering colours that give a special dimension to ordinary things. A journey between lyrical abstraction and figurative art following the serene sound of life and nature… Until 16th September at boutique Adler, Lauenenstrasse 26, Gstaad.
